Lay You In The Ground
From new album: Moment in Time
New album Moment in Time
Featuring a collection of original songs alongside a selection of favorites
“Moment in Time is a warm, unvarnished roots record built on expressive vocals, strong song choices and the natural musical chemistry between Mark and Jill. Drawing from blues, folk, gospel and Americana, they give both familiar material and original songs an intimate, lived-in quality.”

"Mark and Jill's new CD Moment in Time, is just that as it has new songs from the duo that address issues of today while in the style of classic blues and American roots music. They also breathe new life into the traditional songs they cover. "Lay you in the Ground" hits hard at domestic violence while "Hardtime Christmas" will rank right there with Tom Waits Christmas song “ Christmas Card from a Hooker in Minneapolis". I highly recommend this CD."
